Septic Tank Pumped After 18 Years – New Lids Added
This septic tank had not been pumped for 18 years. We dug it up, pumped it out and added new septic tank lids.

This septic tank had not been pumped for 18 years. We dug down to the tank, opened both compartments and pumped it out. The old lids were replaced with new septic tank lids, and the yard was raked back over the tank.
After that long, sludge and scum fill most of the tank and solids start washing out into the field lines – the most expensive part of the system to replace. Regular pumping every 3 to 5 years protects it.
