Field Lines Repaired with a Backhoe – Crossover Line Added

Wet, failing field lines: we brought out a backhoe, excavated the existing line and added an additional crossover line.

Field Lines Repaired with a Backhoe – Crossover Line Added

We repaired existing field lines by bringing out a backhoe. The photos show the problem first – the dark, soggy strip in the lawn over the line – then the trench dug along the field line, the chamber line exposed, and the additional crossover line we added so the water spreads over more of the field.

A wet stripe or soggy spot over the field lines is one of the clearest signs of a drain field problem. Read more about drain field and field line repair.
